Privacy Policy

We collect the following information when you use TradeOps Lite:

• Email address — for account access and service communications
• Company name — to identify your organization and configure your account
• Order data — purchase orders, line items, SKUs, and related business data you upload for processing

We use your data solely to provide and operate the TradeOps Lite service — including account management, AI-powered order extraction, catalog matching, order review, and export functionality. We do not use your data for unrelated purposes.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information or order data to third parties. Your data is used only to deliver the service you signed up for.

We use a small number of service providers to run TradeOps Lite. Each one handles only what it needs to do its job:

• Supabase — our database and sign-in provider. Your account, catalog, customer and order data are stored here, in the EU (Ireland).
• Vercel — hosts the TradeOps Lite website and app.
• OpenAI— reads incoming order emails and attachments to pick out the order lines. Under OpenAI's API terms, this data is not used to train their models. OpenAI keeps it for up to 30 days for abuse monitoring.
• Resend — receives emails sent to your TradeOps order address and sends our account emails.
• Paddle — handles subscriptions and payments as our merchant of record. We never see or store your card details.
• Sentry — receives error reports so we can fix problems, which can include technical details of the request that failed.
• Cloudflare — runs the domain name system for tradeopslite.com and routes email to our own addresses.

All data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Each customer's data is kept separate, and access is restricted to what is needed to run the service.

The database is backed up automatically every day, and the last seven days of backups are kept.

We keep your data for as long as your account is open, including after a trial ends, so everything is still there if you continue. Your data is deleted on request: email us and we will delete it, except for billing records we are required to keep.
